Dr. Keppe has written more than 26 books, many of which have been translated into 8 languages, and include themes such as the origins of psychological and physical illness, metaphysics, the pathology of power, the economy and sociology.
Keppe initially worked as a Freudian analyst, but early in his private practice he experienced the restrictions and limitations of traditional psychotherapy. After many years of conducting extensive scientific research and which encompassed the areas of psychology, philosophy and theology, Keppe established a psychotherapeutic model to more accurately, expansively and deeply address the mental, emotional and physical problems which plague modern man - and this he eventually called, Integral Psychoanalysis (Analytical Trilogy). Keppe later expanded his views to include society, and he coined the term, psychosociopathology to describe his study of society’s psychological problems.
Through Keppe’s important discoveries in psychosocial pathology, and specifically the negative impact of the pathology of social and economic power on individuals, Keppe developed the concept of Trilogical Businesses and Trilogical Residences as an alternative to resolving the fundamental problems of the existing economic model.
Keppe is the founder and President of the International Society of Analytical Trilogy, (formerly the Society of Integral Psychoanalysis – São Paulo, 1970), he has traveled extensively lecturing and conducting seminars, and has carried on research and practiced in many European countries, as well as the U.S.A.
Dr. Keppe founded and still maintains the largest private clinic in South America. In his clinic in São Paulo, he sees many patients and trains psychoanalysts to work with his unique method.
